Coach Colvin began coaching club soccer in the DFW area in 1996. He is an insightful and motivating coach that enjoys developing talent in his players. An independent and innovative leader that has spent the last 10 years with Solar Soccer Club. He believes the best way to get through life is to be prepared. His ability to teach confidence in core skills, independent decision making on the field while developing his players ability to focus on team and personal goals is evident in his players success.

EXPERIENCE

Coach Colvin grew up in San Antonio, he played four years at James Madison High School. Coach Colvin played select soccer for a city travel team, which won three South Texas State Cups and the gold medal in the AAU Junior Olympics. Through his experience as a player, he competed against teams from England, Peru, Mexico, Germany, Russia, Scotland, and Canada. Coach Colvin earned an athletic scholarship to The University of Central Oklahoma and finished his degree at UNT. He is married to his wife Casey of 15 years with 2 amazing children Brodie age 10 and Macie age 7.
