Coaching competitive soccer for 25 years with drive and passion for the game, he possesses the unique ability to instill and develop that dedication in others. Molding student athletes to their full potential, developing their talent and dedication as they reach their goals is where he finds his success. He has maintained a Director of Coaching role for 18 years. His teams have amassed an incredible 200 appearances in Tournament Finals resulting in many championships.

Coach Sawyer was born in England moving to California at the age of 9 then returning to Sunderland, England at 17 to pursue a career in soccer. After numerous injuries and obtaining his FA coaching license he returned to California. Between 1993-2013  he coached and directed at some of the biggest clubs on the West Coast (California Flyers, Southbay, Force, MVSC, Golden State). In 2006 he went to Seoul Korea to run clinics for Wow sports Soccer.  In 2013, he moved to DFW to raise a family with his wife Amanda and their two young children Autumn and Ayden. Coach Sawyer believes success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all love of what you are doing.
